The last time the Rugby World Cup was held in Australia was in 2003. The edition of 2027 will see a change in format: there will be two additional groups in the group phase and an extra round in the knockout phase. This opens the door to more rugby minded countries.

Category 1 generally offers the best seating of the stadium located on the long side of the stadium. Category 2 was typically located on the longside and more towards the corner blocks. Category 3 offers seats from behind the posts from mid height, ensuring a lovely perspective over the field. The last category used is Category 4 and these could be located on the bottom of the shortside or the upper side behind the posts. These seats are also known as get-ins.
